It’s been a tragic weekend on our roads with three people killed and another four left with life-threatening injuries from three crashes.
Two people died when their Ford Everest was hit by a Pajero on the D’Auiglar Highway at Wamuran yesterday afternoon.
Two passengers in the Everest, a 58-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, died at the scene while the driver, a 57 year-old woman, has life-threatening injuries.
The 26 year-old man driving the Pajero has minor injuries and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Meanwhile, a man has died in a crash at Morayfield.
The 56 year-old Morayfield man’s car crashed into a power pole yesterday afternoon.
And three people received life threatening injuries in a two vehicle crash on the Sunshine Motorway at Coolum on Saturday.
It’s the same stretch of road where a 48 year-old woman was killed in a collision on October 7.
