A 12 year-old boy allegedly stabbed at Caloundra State High School has been released from hospital.
At approximately 10am yesterday, emergency services responded to reports of a disturbance at the school on Bower Street.
The boy sustained a non-life-threatening cut to his abdomen and was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for treatment.
It is alleged two other students were threatened, but not physically injured.
A fourth student, a 12-year-old girl, was taken into custody.
It’s alleged she was located by police with a knife and had caused damage to a wall.
She has been charged with one count each of wounding, going armed so as to cause fear, possession of a knife in a public place, two counts of common assault and three counts of wilful damage.
She was denied police bail and is expected to appear in the Maroochydore Children’s Court today.
