A local charity is calling for help in the aftermath of the severe flash flooding in Nambour on Monday.
Neighbours Aid runs an op shop in Nambour that raises funds to support thousands of disadvantaged children and communities in four countries around the world.

The Nambour headquarters was flooded by up to a metre of water in the flooding.
It has left the organisation with the mammoth job of clearing out everything from the site – the storefront, the warehouse and sorting rooms, storage sheds and container out the back, so the cleanup and rebuilding can start.
They are looking for as many people as possible who can help with emptying, cleaning and rebuilding so they can get back to raising money.

If you are able to lend a hand or want to find out other ways to help, reach out to Neighbours Aid Head Office in Nambour on 07/5476 2383.
The charity was founded in Nambour in 2002 as a single op shop and has grown to 8 other op shops throughout Queensland.
