The Sunshine Coast and Gympie was hit by flooding rain on the weekend.
Numerous roads were closed across the region and swift water rescue crews were needed to help get people out of floodwater on Saturday.

The SES received 29 calls for help in Gympie, 24 on the Sunshine Coast and 15 in Noosa.
The deluge cut the Bruce Highway near Tiaro, north of Gympie.
The weather bureau is predicting more rain tomorrow through to Thursday.
