Police are investigating the death of a 49-year-old man in Maroochydore.
At approximately 1.30pm yesterday, police received reports of a fight at a Deejay Street home between a 49-year-old man and an 82-year-old man, who knew each other.
A 47-year-old man, who lives nearby, heard the disturbance and went to the home to help.

The 49-year-old Maroochydore man died at the scene.
A crime scene has been declared and the 47-year-old man is assisting police with enquires.
There is no threat to public safety and it’s believed no weapons were involved.
