A man has died in a Father’s Day tragedy on a Sunshine Coast beach.
Police say the 63-year-old local was pulled unresponsive from the water at Coolum Beach around 9.30am on Sunday.
Emergency crews tried to revived him, but sadly he passed away at the scene.

A QPS spokesperson says it’s believed the man may have suffered a medical episode.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
