A Brisbane teenager has been charged over a violent home invasion on the Sunshine Coast last November.
Police say three men and the 17 year-old Sunnybank Hills boy forced their way into a Beerwah home, threatened the elderly couple with baseball bats and a gun and held them in their bedroom.
It’s alleged the 75-year-old husband was hit on the arm with a bat.

The thieves then stole several items.
The teenager has been charged with numerous offences, including two counts of robbery with violence, deprivation of liberty and serious assault of a person over 60 and enter dwelling with intent.
Investigations into the other people involved are continuing.
