Marvel Studios have dropped the second trailer for “Deadpool & Wolverine,” featuring a much better look at the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
The movie intertwines with the Time Variance Authority (TVA) from “Loki,” a bureaucratic entity outside time and space, overseeing the timeline (hinted by the appearance of the time-eating Alioth creature from “Loki”).
The TVA interrupts Wade Wilson/Deadpool’s (Ryan Reynolds) tranquil life, enlisting him alongside Wolverine on a mission destined to alter the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s history (MCU).
Co-starring Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, and others, the film is Marvel Studios’ sole theatrical release for the year. It leads the charts as one of the most anticipated films of 2024 and set to breath life into the MCU films that have suffered since Avengers Endgame.
Directed by Shawn Levy, with the screenplay by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells, the movie marks Marvel Studios’ first R-rated venture.
So be warned the trailer that has racked up over 10 Million views in a matter of hours includes swearing and some graphic scenes:
“Deadpool & Wolverine” hits cinemas on July 26th.
