Another April, another day of misleading news and announcements. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favourite pranks by well-known businesses around the globe. Did you fall for any of these stories this year?

The Razer Skibidi

Razer “announced” a headset that would translate for the wearer all the horrible Gen Z lingo you’d hear online. Even going so far to create an entire webpage detailing all it’s features. The Razer Skibidi was set to help people translate all their brain rot in real-time.

The Matcha Milk

Big M shared the first look at their Matcha Flavoured Milk, which strangely out of all the April fools pranks that’ve happened this seems the most plausible. Hey Big M, release it you cowards, I’ll be first in line, and it’ll be a damn good day!

Gaming review company IGN jumped in on the fun by “announcing” more unreleased cast members from next year’s Avengers Doomsday film. Their list starts plausible before moving more and more into the absurd. Personally, I’d be okay with seeing the Sandworm from Dune in this movie.

Who’s keen for some Spinach Paneer flavoured ice cream? In a move that disturbed some and greatly excited others this range of Indian curry ice cream is definitely a sight to behold. Personally, if it were real I don’t know if I’m game to try it. I love a good white boy special of butter chicken and garlic naan, but this scares me in dessert form.

Duolingo Cruise

I don’t know who runs this account, but they terrify me and I love it. Duolingo partnered with Carnival Cruises to announce a special 5-year cruise to keep their users streaks alive in which you have access to many things, freedom though is not one of them…
